Hi Every one thx for the add.
New Rider here,
Just picked up my new Versys 300X ABS.
This is my 2nd bike. 1st was Yamaha Virago 205. How ever that bike did not even last a full season and i had to let it go :( (everything keep breaking on it)
So after careful consideration and being new to the motorcycle world i decide to pick up a newer bike and take out maximum warranty on it(just is case something breaks)
I learned from my Virago that fixing a bike can be a expensive. Im up the country and have about 30min commute to work which at times include dirt roads. My friend who is also relatively new rider made a good point that with bad/ dirt roads near my house Adventure style bike will be a good fit for me & its not to heavy. Im 6foot 130lb so heavy bikes dont do well for me.
Let the adventure begin.

Nice and welcome. The first thing you should immediately get is a set of crash bars and I would also get the exhaust frame slider.

At 6ft tall you don't have to worry about tipping over. Wow. Going over some dirt roads would be cool on my way to work.

How many months of the year can you ride before it snows? How many months can you get out of a riding season where you are?
