Hi there,

I just found this place while lurking the internet for advices on my new bike.
Since a week i'm riding a '07 Versys w/ ABS, with barely 4K miles, and 2 new tires.

So far the bike is great, it really changes frome my 7 old Yamaha 600 XJN (somewhat related to the seca II you guys might know this side of the atlantic ocean :usa: ).

The Versys is really amazing. I rode 2 hours on the highway to get it back home, the default windshield did its work great. Since then, I merely use it downtown to go to work... it's just fun !

By now i'm looking after a few parts to add (sorry for my poor english) :
- hands protection
- heated grips
- rear hugger

If you guys know any bargains I might go after (US$ vs. euro is at my advantage ...), feel free to let me know.

trailered the V near La Rochelle last month for a quick holiday, never done western france and was impressed! some great roads and and scenery, and no crowds after August!

I lives 3 years in La Rochelle, great place ! Espcially the Ile de Ré just nearby.
