OK, so here's the license plate wall, so far.

With our Moto Guzzi in the way - but you get the general idea.

I thought you collected license plates, I see you collect motorcycles.
Wow, what collection!
It's not my fault. The Wife picks them out. Mostly. >:)>:)>:)

Seriously, though - I buy several each year. They're mostly the garage ornaments that haven't been run in years.

We bring them home and put them in the Man Cave (climate-controlled walk-out basement). It's a great hobby and keeps me from watching TV.

Remember kids, TV = BAD. Shining motorcycles = GOOD.

:grin2::grin2::grin2:

In this picture, four of then have already been sold this year

It's almost May, and I thought to post an update on the license plate wall.

Picked up a lot of license plates from friends and relatives here - local.
Moved all of the motorcycle plates to their own wall.

Many thanks to everyone that contributed !!!

I had one of the most unique license plates at one time, bizzare story. On a hitchhiking trip across Canada in 1976 I bought a 175cc Ducati street thumper in Winnipeg and continued on as a rider. When I got back to B.C. one day I noticed my license plate was gone, vibrated off from the one cylinder vibration. I wanted to keep the bike registered in Manitoba as it was cheaper so I called Motor vehicle registation in that province and they said that they wouldnt ship a plate out of province. But the fellow there told me it was legal to make one out of wood and paint it like the original as long as the insurance was still good. This is a farming province, sounds good to me! So I made one out of plywood, painted it up. Dont think its legal anymore but who knows..
