A few questions:
1) How tall are you?
2) What kind of helmet are you using? (Open face, full face, MX with a peak, etc)
3) At what speed are you noticing the lift?
I'm 6' and have a Shoei Hornet. I have the stock windshield in the highest position, and don't notice any issues at all riding around town (80-90 km/h tops) unless I tilt my head back enough for the peak to catch the wind.
Not 100% shure what is buffeting,
If it's wind turbulence around the helmet (up, down, side to side, rolling around the helmet in all axis, it ain't that
But what I experience is the helmet/head is being pulled up, not sideways, not front to rear, but really up
If I lean foward, it stops
I have a fairly high raised wind shield and generally don't have this problem except for the first time a week ago. I was being bounce all over the road by 30+ mph crosswind gusts. With each big gust it felt like my helmet was being pulled straight up off my head. BTW my Cymax II is quite "snug". Bending forward did reduce this effect. :interesting:
So, you're tall, have a full face helmet (no peak to catch the air, etc), and bending down under the airflow prevents the problem. Sounds like the air off the windshield is catching you just below the bottom edge of the helmet. If that's the case, then raising the shield is worth trying.
I need a help please. I try to find the location of the turn light relay on my Versys 650 y19 , I have read some post, someone say it's on the front someone under the tank , can you help me please?
Best regards from Italy (sorry for my poor english)
Brother-in-law, living in EU, European 2016/mark3 versys650. He stumped me with an info that one of the cylinders (right one I believe) has a different fuel/air mixture ratio than the other one. Allegedly due to emission requirements. Is this true?

I crashed my versys on a dirt road. It landed on the left side and the engine cover was smashed with a rock.
If i'm lucky, stator is not damaged. I can replace the cover (already ordered a new one and the gasket).
But a piece of the cover is missing and I think it's somewhere inside the engine...
It's from a Gen II (possibly common to Gen I and III)
I found it floating around on top of the cam cover.
I'd like to know exactly how this sheet of rubber/vinyl is fitted wherever it belongs.
A photo would be "the ducks guts".
Does anyone know the part number of the plastic handles that are right beside the passenger seat? They almost look like handles for the passenger to hold on to. Mine are both cracked and I'm looking for replacement. Or do they maybe make metal tube replacements instead of the plastic? Any help...
