Thank you to add me.
Proud owner of a used VS-650 (2011).
Plenty of road and some rough roads to explore in the south of Thailand where I live. I've been out of motorcycling for a few years and I'm happy to be back.

Welcome.

My nephew will be travelling through Thailand next month. Any suggestions on places to avoid and places that are must see?
Will your nephew be traveling by motorcycle?
In any transport type there is no place to avoid unless weather restricts this. (Heavy rain in the south for the past few weeks.
If this is his first trip here a must see is the kings palace in Bangkok and the Erawan elephant (a history museum in the south of Bangkok) both are easy to travel to.
The south of Thailand has beaches. The famous beaches are crowded. (Koh phiphi).
I like the quite life near prachuap khuri khan (baan grood beach) and SiKao near Trang. Few tourist and very inexpensive.
The north has beautiful mountains. ..
The east and west have beautiful history and old temples.
Sorry for the long thread. :)
