Ah, Portland. I still have fond memories of the Rose City from my undergraduate days (many years ago) at Pacific University, in Forest Grove.

Welcome, and congrats on your new Versys. All black looks very nice.

Newberg here. Haven't been able to get out this year on the V. My dual sport is having all the fun right now.

It's good hear there is one more Oregon Versys owner. We're a bit spoiled, in this corner of the planet, by having so many great roads to ride. And the Verys is (in my humble opinion) the perfect bike to ride on our roads.

I hope you got to enjoy our unusually sunny weather this week. Myself, I went on an ~60 mile ride yesterday through farm land in the Willamette Valley, and with assistance of heated grips, it was glorious!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the bike, sounds like you're adventurizing it nicely!

I was out Skyline yesterday for about an hour & half. Good till I hit the north slope, still frozen at 3 pm!

Thanks everyone. To the local V owners we'll have to go for a ride sometime and grab a beer after. I did enjoy the nice weather for a couple of the days and now im working on my softbag mounts and adding a "fuse block" system to add two power outlets.

Welcome!

I will be picking up my 2011 V tomorrow around 11. I am still in disbelief that I have it haha.... Seems there is always something that happens so I can't get the bike... and not this time!
