Hi, I’m from Southeast Indiana. I just bought a 2014 Versys 650 ABS. I have bought many aftermarket products including skid plate, center stand, crashbars, lowering pegs and s few more other things and hopefully will be installing next week. I’ll post on here or in a seperate post after I install them if anybody is interested. Thanks

Welcome! and enjoy your new bike! I also have a 2014 ABS 650 and would definitely be interested in your experience with the centerstand. I'm happy with the SW Motech engine guards I installed.

Also Givi topcase and Barkbuster handguards.

Hi Rob, I’d love to see pics of your bike and get any advice, wisdom, opinions, or anything that you have learned.
My Vesus has 2000 miles on it. I have already installed the SW Motech center stand, SW Motech crash bars, and SW Motech engine guard/bash plate. I’m glad I bought these 3 in the same brand because all 3 share some of the same mounting points and hardware. If you install then one at a time like I did, you have to take items apart and install different spacers as you install. If mixing brands, you may not have the proper spacers. Immediately after installing these 3 items, I put the bike on its side stand and started to up to see if any of the new parts made any noise or vibrations. Happily they did not. As I got off the bike, I noticed the side stand retracting (I most of not fully extended it.). So down me and the bike went. The crashbars did their job, not a scratch on the bike or crashbars (my knee didn’t do as well, lesson learned!). The previous owner has installed a Givi Windshield which hit a chair that I had in the garage on the way down and broke. I have bought an identical windshield but have not installed. The previous owner also installed Barkbusters but put a 1” stack of washers on the bar ends between the mounts. I have removed them to install Oxford heated grips. I hope when I reinstall I can make adjustments and not need the stacks of washers. I have also purchased a Kawasaki top box with green matching trim and Givi side cases. The Givi V35 cases is what Kawasaki used but OEM but the OEM has been discontinued so I bought them from Givi. The side case green trim has also been discontinued but i was able to purchase then from a company in England. The cases are not installed yet along with many other things. I may have got carried away, thanks Andy
