Welcome! Nice bike . . . and the C-130 brings back a bunch of memories from days gone by. A memory lane wormhole!

Thanks Arion! I have more pictures from Fort Indiantown Gap that I can post when I have the opportunity.

This was actually my first time on that base and I have to admit it was very impressive watching the aircraft practice their landings and takeoffs.

Every now-and-then I would get "tasked" to lead a formation of C-130s to Fredericton, NB, to help instructors at CFB Gagetown keep their "jump certifications" current.

After we'd drop the troops, we'd call the tower at Fredericton for the 'numbers' - runway in use, wind, etc. prepping for landing.

AFTER giving us the 'numbers', LOTS of times the controller would (innocently...:wink2:...) ask us what a (fill-in-the-blank) maneuver was [overhead break, pitch from minimums, prince-of-whales-break, etc], so our answer was - "...Kind of hard to describe, but CLEAR US for one and we'll show you!"

Did a LOT of impromptu "airshows" there....
