After 2 months of owning the Versys, I did my first ride in the twisties last Friday (250 miles). Yeah! I luv, luv, luv the bike!

How active are member on the board?
How do I find out how many Versys riders are in my area?
Are folks interested in local rides? Or long distance? (I often do weekend and long distance travel).

Hope to become a more active member of the Versys community now!

Welcome aboard! I'm pretty sure there are a few V's in your area. Search California. That might help you find a few, or better yet, start a thread asking members to join you for a ride!

It would be helpful if you listed your location in your profile so it would appear with any post you make, and in the member list.

You can check out the member list to find riders in you area if they have entered their location. You can't search by location (which would be nice) but you can page through it.

I've met a few Versys riders from the forum and I'll say it's a bit of a mixed bag. Most have been cool but a few have been duds. I think it's more important to ride with people that share the same riding style as you than what bike they own.
