Doing a few bits on the V

Managed to do a few bits over the Christmas break
Fork dust seals and oil seals + fork oil 7.5wt
Steering head bearings
New plugs + cleaned and oiled the old Air filter I removed during the last service
Made up a spring compressor for to do the fork oil seals and you can see the marks on the steering bearings where it used to kind of settle in to the straight ahead position

All 4 of the mudguard bolts sheared off and had to drill and tap :-(

hope you replaced those cheap OEM bearings with roller bearings, very inexpensive in the States, and probably most countries. makes a noticeable difference.

Oh yeah taper roller bearings are the way to go alright
Cost me about €30 I think for the set :)
