Grew up with dogs and cats. Dogs require constant care and attention, so haven't had one in 40 years because of my travel schedule. Maybe when I retire, unless I can figure out if I can train a cat to ride with me.

Saw a black panther cross the road when i was going from Naples to Miami back in the 80's at first i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. But they weren't..
Bailey went to Clyde Butcher Big Cypress Gallery.
When we pulled into the parking lot there were people walking around, taking pictures of the swamp and the don't feed the Alligators sign. These people were about 10 feet away from the sign and what appeared to be an Alligator statue. After taking a picture of my wife and Bailey by the car, we walked around the other side of the car to get a picture with the statue in the background. Bailey got about five feet from the statue when it jumped up and slid into the swamp.

I knew a guy when I lived in Florida that was out bank fishing with his dog, he went back up to his truck and when he came back his dog was gone. Don't know if they still have signs posted warning about leaving small animals and children unattended, they did in the 80's. It's an eerie sound when the males call for females during mating season.

Guy walks into a bar, sees a gal w/ a cat on her lap. Walks over, says "Where did you get the dog?"
Gal huffs up, says back to him: "I'll have you know THIS is a CAT!"
Guy looks at her, and says "I was talking to the CAT!"

We should all have a Bailey's kind of Dog's Life; she is chewing on a steak bone as I write this.
