I think the prep fee on my Versys was $300, but the dealer waived it - without me even asking. The bike was a year old left-over, already with a factory discount, but I guess they wanted it sold. I happily obliged.
I won't pay fees. If they want to charge them, I buy elsewhere or used.
Just bought a truck and the dealer wanted a $699 doc fee. I said NO WAY! It was hard printed on the form so they had to reduce the price another $699 to make up for it. Of course I knew I had them when there were so many vehicles on the lot that they had to park the overflow at the shopping mall across the street.
When one gets a new bike, heading to a new forum usually goes along with it.
So I have been hanging around the Aprilia Forum as of late.

My girlfriends father who is 79 with failing health has been going down hill this past year. We knew his time was coming soon and have been preparing for it. Making him comfortable at home as he refused to go to a hospital and the hospitals don't want anyone coming unless absolutely necessary...
Sigh :frown2:What happened to the quality of good old red shop rags? The ones you get at auto parts stores and Harbor Freight are junk now.
The material is rough as sandpaper and they don't absorb @#$%.
Anyone know where you can get the good ones?
