Does the BS6 emissions standard apply to the 2021 Versus 650 imported into the USA?

I've read that the 2021 650 engines in the verses 650 and it's sibling motorcycles will conform to the BS6 emissions standard but the articles I'm finding all pertain to India. Does anyone know if the the 650 engines sold in the USA starting in 2021 will comply with this standard or will they conform to the older BS4 standard?

Most of the articles claim the BS6 compliant engines will have approximately two less horsepower and one less pound foot of torque over the older BS4 engines.

That BS6 emissions standard is like EURO 5 norm in Europe.

And yes you are right, they lowered torque and power: (I check on Kawasaki site)

2018 model Versys650 - 51kW and 64 Nm - EURO 4 norm

2021 model Versys650 - 49kW and 61 Nm - EURO 5 norm

They also reduce CO2 from 110g/km to 107g/km
