Hi All -

Putting on a 44t and my question is simple -

The manual says to take off the Brake caliper when removing the rear wheel -
but I can't see why as it would appear the rear can be removed without taking it off...

I will if everyone says so - but I try not to take things off that can be put back on incorrectly as a novice mechanic.

tnx

The wheel will come out with the caliper still mounted, but you're better off taking the caliper off the caliper mount. It's a lot easier getting the wheel and caliper mount back together correctly without the caliper hanging on it.
