Hey it doesnt take much to bend the handlebars on a V. I read a forum once that someone had bought renthal atv highs. What is everyone's opinion on these. I know they would be stronger. Stock bars are 66.00 and then 15.00 shipping

Yup... And if you want even better vibration absorbtion and not have a cross-bar, you can get a Rox adjustable pivoting riser/adapter to install a 1-1/8" tapered (fat bar) aluminum handlebar. With a Rox 2" (50.8 mm) rise adapter, you could use a handlebar with about 95 mm height to retain original height: Tag Metals CR HI/KTM/ATV BEND in black, silver, or nitride has a 795 mm width, 95 mm height, and 62 mm sweep.

I just ordered from oem the atv highs for 51.95. I hope I did not make a mistake. I wanted the rubber dampend risers for the adjustment and the vibration reduction. I have heard I need to cut of 3/4ths inch off. Any suggestions

Anybody have any idea what the height and pullback are on the stock bars? I'm looking for a little forward lean.

I am a bit confused here...

Do both Pro Taper's SE (high and low) handle bars fit Versys without problems or modifications?
What is the difference in the end?

Also:
Can Zeta hand-guards be fitted on SevenEights bars without modifications?

Cheers.

ProTaper 'Seven Eights' ATV High handlebars are 160 mm high compared to recommended ATV Low's 140 mm, and 100 mm pullback instead of 84 mm. That's 20 mm higher and 16 mm more pullback, but both have apparently been fitted without any problems. Zeta have handguards specifically for either a 7/8", or a 1-1/8" tapered handlebar.

My Tag Metals T2 tapered bars have a bit less pullback (61 mm) than stock. (My particular bend is not available anymore, and I installed it with a hard to fit solid Moose riser/adapter.)... You could always get a Rox 2" rise swivel adapter for tapered (1-1/8") handlebars with about 95 mm height to retain original height. You could go with Tag Metals' HON/KAW/RC/FAC BEND with 99 mm rise and 54 degree sweep, for example. (9711-05 Black, 9711-08 Silver, 9711-20 Nitride)
