Cool place. My Navy son and D-I-L were living on base for about five years at Point Mugu so I got to buzz around that area quite a bit.

Son retired last year, D-I-L has will retire during Mardis Gras in NOLA next weekend. Reservations made, raking Roadtrek for lodging and Versys in the trailer. Camp site reserved at Chalmette SP. Yeehaw.

Good O'l Neptunes Net. Had many a good lunch there.

After the Net I would do Mulholand, the snake, and many of the great canyon roads up on the hill.

Almost went there yesterday. But as you can tell in the photos it was pretty hazy here so it would have been worse there. I always go during the week. Too much traffic and want to be Rossi's out around there on the weekends. :smile2:
Saw Jay Leno out at the Rock Store the day i got hit by a car after leaving Neptune's Net...
