I tried to order the Hepco & Becker stand for my 2015. It is out of stock. Expected delivery time is 4 plus weeks. I purchased and installed the SW-Motech instead. I am happy with the purchase. But, I had the same problem with a misaligned mounting hole as noted in and earlier post by another member on this site.

I just installed a Hepco Becker center stand on my Versys a couple of days ago.

The stand parts are very well made and the finish is thick powder coating - I am impressed with the quality.

Easy to install - just remove bolts and spacers from the footpeg mounting brackets on both sides of the bike, insert center stand brackets and install longer bolts and stouter spacers. Everything lines up perfectly and it was very easy to install. The center stand spring was a real challenge to install - it is huge! I ended up using an old wire coat hanger. I just put the loop part of the hanger over the spring and put a broom handle through the loop. I pried it on using my rear caliper for leverage. It was still difficult, but I did it single handed. Two people would have made it easier.

The stand works perfectly. It is very easy to lift the bike on the stand and it is very stable on the stand. There is no interference issue with the side stand (and I have a larger side stand foot installed). It is tucked in very well and does not affect cornering clearance at all. The lever for the stand ends up right under the passenger peg, but it is not difficult to access once you get used to it.

This is the center stand that should have come with the motorcycle. It is very well made and very functional.:smile2:

Thanks for the info; I'm about to order one. The spring looks pretty close to the exhaust in the first photo, but I'm assuming there's no contact, right?

Price in Canada?

Did a quick search, hard to say what the cost would be in Canada, I would think it comparable to the SW Motech @ about $360 Canadian TXINC.

My lift cost me roughly $125 more, plus I doubt it would work on the lowered Versys , on the up side it looks well made and thanks for posting.

Does anyone know if the Hepco Becker centerstand will interfere with lowered pegs on my 18 ?
Not a problem at all.
Found that the H&B Centrestand is easier to deploy than a Scooter!!

[email protected] has the best main stand from all the other brands. It is simple, light, and easy to install. It is like 2 or 3kg lighter than T-rex one. the only issue is that you need to shave a few mm the part on the left side, which is too close to the chain when the main stand is lifted. it is actually dangerously close, especially if the chain is not tightened enough.
