I just sold my Vstrom and looking to get something lighter for this old guy. I'm looking at the 300's so I may be asking some questions.

Thanks

I Think Kawasaki should make a Versys 400 & they probably will since they have the Ninja 400cc . In a few years at my Age I will definitely be looking for a Versys that is lighter & lower seat height than my2019 Versys 650LT . But for now & the next 3-5 years I’m going to enjoy the 650.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm trying to read all the forums so I don't repeat too many questions.

I feel you. I am only 5'6 and the 33.3" is just about all I can "comfortably" stand. Man do I love this bike though!
I'm the same way. I'm 6'2" and sometimes have a hard time throwing my leg over the bike when I get in the garage.

Once you "set your sag" you'll find it easier to 'reach' the ground after your weight has "settled" the bike.
