Assuming the 2015 (gen3),
The left hole is 28mm.
The right hole is 34mm.

yes, you can. i have one that has two USB outputs, it provides about three times the power. it will charge my phone while it is playing music and also run my GPS and it was under $30. (China) The only factory part i got was the relay.

I found a flush-mount, all-metal, 2.4A (per port) dual USB charger on Amazon. No problems maintaining my Garmin Zumo XT charge at 100%, even with with screen always-on and at 80-100% brightness. I use a rubber dummy plug in the unused USB slot for water resistance.
