I did the Speedy peg lowering kit. All fine until the last step - lowering the brake pedal.

The lock nut (top in pic) loosened no problem but I can't budge the adjusting nut (bottom in pic). It seems to me there is not enough room in the clevis (?) to turn that nut.

Is the adjusting nut just tight cause it's new or am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to pull that cotter pin and pivot bolt at the end of the clevis to adjust the nut?

Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for that link Gigitt.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. The adjusting nut is tucked under the plunger - found it, turned it, all good.

I'll keep the Speedy nut in mind after I give the new peg height a whirl.

Thanks.
