Hi all, just registered! Am I #1000....I'd sure like to win the bike, but a booby prize will do.
Maybe we should all go incognito until we see a post we'd like to respond to.(I have to admit, I lurk sometimes too.)
It would make for a pretty dead site...EH!
The lurkers may not own Versys' as of yet, so they feel their input might not be welcomed, being Versys wannabes.(Or perhaps not!)
Hey folks I'm living proof you don't have to have a clue what you're talking about to post and be welcomed here!
I suppose if one has nothing good to add then one should say nothing at all...Obviously a lesson I wasn't in the room to learn.
This off topic discussion area is a fine place to blabber on and on about things that virtually no-one wants to read, or have the patience, the time, or the will to do.
Just because you think you have nothing of value to add doesn't necessarily mean that absolutely nobody wants to read you're post.
Almost everytime I post my ignorance is showing...what do I care...
There are always going to be "rocket scientists" in any group, and this forum is no exception. I do hope they continue to post and educate, entertain, and enlighten(as best they can) the others , like me , on this forum that are stark raving mad lunatics, who know nothing about bikes except they have 2 wheels and when you fall over it hurts....
Yes I know, I am the only one!
But anyways, the reason I decided to post here was initially because I was buying a Versys...There was no other reason, except that I was interested in the topics, the posters were very helpful, some, almost friendly, and a large number of regulars are very knowledgeable with obviously many many years of experience on the topic of bikes and many other issues...I could go on and on and on and on and on.....but I won't!!!!!
Been riding for about a year and a half and never had an issue. I'm planning my first long trips (900 miles ish) and want to start planning a cross country trip. Never had any cramp issues until a ride a few weeks ago from Nashville to Chattanooga. I did about 300 miles total that day. It's been...
Out looking for uranus and neptune. Pretty sure ny camera caught uranus, but I still can't see it with the naked eye. Jupiter, saturn, Mars and venus are all pretty easy to spot right now.
I kinda like these long exposures. I might try some city shots sometime.
I'm at the end of my first week of therapy for recovery from a hip replacement. It was done with the robotic assist. I have put up with it for over a year and knew that it wasn't going to get better or go away. I am 63 years old and also have knees that aren't in the best of shape. A lifetime of...
I'm seeing used bikes, up to 15 years old, with asking prices equivalent to what I paid for the same bikes New and a couple years old.
I guess the new bikes have climbed in price so much that they are pulling the used bike prices up with them. Mmm.
I know this happened with the 1993 Honda...
This guy's YouTube channel is very good. He is some kind of automotive mechanical engineer by profession, and he does really informative videos covering all kinds of topics related to engines, fuel, oil, tires, performance, economy, transmissions, etc. He looks at the most modern stuff as well...
