A/V Foot Pegs Install - Offroad Pegs

I wanted better pegs for the occasional fire road but also found the stock pegs supportive. I ordered SW-MOTECH On-Road/Off-Road Footpegs, http://www.twistedthrottle.com/sw-motech-on-road-off-road-footpegs-kawasaki-versys-650-07-z1000-07-09-10 and they were 2lbs each, extremely large and had an odd angle. Kudos to TW, they accepted the return and refund with no complaint. And should given how much i have ordered through them but still great folks.

Then I saw these on eBay and was dubious as to the price equals quality, etc., but installed today and went for a ride. Perfect! So much better than stock, and you can adjust the angle of the peg. Solid billet construction although not sure would hold up to a Dakar run :)

good timing. I have been seriously considering the SW ones from TT but thought they might be awkward with the width especially on the shifter side.
I thought it would be better if they could pivot or angle down a bit.
Thanks for the post!

The trick with these is once you get the pins lined up for the angle you prefer, you will not be able to push the mount and the peg together by hand, at least I was unable to. But once you get them aligned, insert the hex bolt and start tightening. The bolt will make them seat together. Is really a cool product.
I got some for EBAY as well. They were about $25. So worth a try. I just had to enlarge the bolt hole and good to go. Much more comfortable. I'm a street rider, but the wider peg is great.
Nice buy. agree about the comfort.
