I wonder if this fits in with Darwins theory of "Natural Selection".

You sure about that... in the immortal words of Chrissy Amphlet;I'll pass thank you.
Everyone should know this hit song.You sure about that... in the immortal words of Chrissy Amphlet;
"there's a very fine line between pleasure and pain".
even if the kerf of a chainsaw is hardly a fine line.
In case the "Divinyls" are unknown up there:
This was pretty good too:Everyone should know this hit song.

It's just trash! I don't understand what a person should have in his head to hold a chainsaw like this.View attachment 181923

I beg to differ Kay_B. This is actually the correct method to yank your chain. 😉It's just trash! I don't understand what a person should have in his head to hold a chainsaw like this.
Well, of course. Especially if you are looking for a quick way to commit suicide. I don't think anyone will survive if a chainsaw breaks the arteries in the groin.I beg to differ Kay_B. This is actually the correct method to yank your chain. 😉
My apologies, yanking you chain = having a laugh (making a joke). Pretty sure this is just a joke..... or that guy is now a catstrati. See what I did there?Well, of course. Chainsaws have a centrifugal clutch, and typicallyIt's just trash! I don't understand what a person should have in his head to hold a chainsaw like this.
You know, hoping that the braking mechanism works 100% is a complete idiot. There is a safety technique and any mechanism can fail.Chainsaws have a centrifugal clutch, and typically
start at idle, so the chain receives little or no drive at start up.
And if the chain brake has been applied, the chain is locked stationary.
So what that operator is doing, looks a lot more dangerous than what
it actually is... probably
Having said all that; there are those that have a psychotic need for attention, and are willing to
harm themselves to fulfill that need... So perhaps the chain brake is not activated
and the throttle is locked full open.
Either way, I'd suggest what he/she has in its head, apart from space, is very little.
No argument dear. You know, hoping that the braking mechanism works 100% is a complete idiot. There is a safety technique and any mechanism can fail.
