The reason that it's FOR SALE, is because it looks like I am "hanging-up-my-spurs" after 60+ years of riding/racing motorcycles.

In the straight-up Versys universe Eddie must hold the record for miles ridden on the Verseys 650....
103,6xx MILES on my '08, 62,790 KMS on my '09, and 91,951 KMS on the '15 = 199,751 MILES among three V650s...!

FWIW: an '03 Bandit 1200S aprox 40K kms; and an '04 KLR650 aprox 80K kms, so APROX. 74,560 miles, which comes to a TOTAL of 274,311 MILES on motorcycles, since I retired in '03, plus "WHATEVER" miles BETWEEN 1962 and 2003....

Been one 'helluva ride'...!

Yea, going can-am/trike/sidecar would be a great excuse to keep riding. Hate for you to have to completely give up riding :(

Eddie so sorry to hear you are hanging it up. I know how much motorcycling means to us old tired pilots. Riding my John Deere, green KLR, is my happy place to escape this crazy world.

Not sure how much longer I will be riding. Back issues, neuropathy, vertigo issues, etc. Man it's sure fun getting "old."

Take care my friend and many happy trails.

Tim.

My buddy's ridden Gold wings until he was 78 then moved to 650 Burgmans then to Canams. Now still on them at 88 and rides almost every day. Good inspiration for me at only 75 and still doing 25,000 miles a year.

25k a year. That's some serious butt time.

You doing it all on a V-650? Or do you have other horses in the barn?
