dallasdon I had a Versys and I sold it when I bought my Goldwing. Now I wish I had kept it and bought the Goldwing as a second bike. You can't go wrong with the Versys. It is a great all around bike and less than half the weight of a Goldwing. I love my Goldwing, but I can see another Versys to keep it company.

Have you read this article, it says a lot about what the Versys is about: Not a dual purpose, more like all purpose.

weljo2001 Good Deal. Hopefully one day we can get a group of guys in the area to make a trip to glenn rose tx. for some of the best bbq i've ever eaten. not to far from lake granbury and close to river rafting and canoe rentals. But for now bedford is pretty centrally located.

If you're not doing anything on Sunday, come have lunch with us at Spring Creek in Bedford. There's a post on it in the General section.

I just signed up as a "lurker". I am in the market for a second bike and really like the looks of the Versys. I saw a couple of '09s today in North Dallas Suzuki/Kawasaki. I currently ride a Honda Goldwing, but I want something smaller for every day riding around town and dual-purpose.
