Jungmann1 The Tall Grass Prairie was the first day ride I went on after getting my Versys. Great roads, easy to get lost in! The buffalo definitely make effective speed bumps. I just wish all the little gravel roads and two-tracks weren't posted as private property or oil lease land. I am sure there are some terrific rides to be had on those. I will have to look closer at my map of Osage county and east of Spavina. Thanks for the tips! J.

OKSTEVE OK Steve Here. Try going East out of Salina instead of North to Spavinah. We call it Reservation Road, it doesn't show on most maps but it's a real hoot! You ever ride east out of Talequah on 62 to Westville? For dirt roads, Osage County is awsome. Have you done the Tall Grass Prarie? It's well maintained and fast unless of course the buffalo are lounging in the road.

U might want to ckeck out Two wheel Oklahoma on saturdays on channel 41 around 9:00 or 9:30 I will have to check to be sure. They feture roads around Oklahoma. Thought u Oklahoma guys might want to check it out.

Jungmann1 You looking for hard surfaces or off road? I haven't had huge success on finding good dirt close to Tulsa, yet, but I sure like the roads out east of here around Spavina and Tallequa. Highway 10 north out of Tallequa is a lot of fun, not the most challenging but always fun and not too much traffic unless the weather is just perfect and we get the whole cruiser crowd out there.
