Nice to read your comment on my 'hanging-up' my spurs. I'm NOT happy about it, but along w/ the Bells palsy I got from those effing vaxx's - I COULD end up hurt, and I don't want THAT!
    Keep-on keeping on, Tim!
    Cheers

Breaks my heart about your forced retirement my friend. Funny you mention a Miata as I have had that thought a time or two. Perhaps some day. Take care.

Tim - I'll buy the pads from you, IF you'll hold them until I get down to AZ, probably in Nov.

    And I WON'T try to "low-ball" you....

Hey Eddie how ya been my friend? The pads are all yours. Consider them sold. Are you getting some good rides in up in BC? I now have just north of 6k miles on my new 790 Duke.

    - "There's nothing else like THIS, is there?" to which I replied "There's BETTER - single-seat hi-perf jet, low-level...", then added "No - even better - on a motorcycle on a GREAT 'bendy' road, and you're "in the ZONE"!"

I stand by that remark - how about YOU?

On my last flight (YVR-YYC-FRA-YYC-YVR) w/ a 26 hour in FRA and an overnight in the second YYC, my F/O made a video. We crossed the "Rocks" on that last leg at 19,000' to give the 'folks' a view, and the F/O said

Would love to see the video. The Canadian Rockies are spectacular from the air.

Tim - the AE340 (fin 981) was not only the LAST one I flew, but ALSO the FIRST one I flew when I took the AIRBUS course, tho' I took the course in France at Paris (stayed at the SAME hotel that the Concorde crashed into later), then did 'airborne' back in Canada on 981.

I had a "few" good $ years, but we got paid in "Canuck-bucks" - MUCH smaller than YOURS....;)
