Brakes upgrade

Hello everybody

I am thinking of upgrading the brake system on my Versys since I find it quite weak and with no feel. So the possible routes are the following:

  • Brake pads
  • Brake lines
  • Front caliper
  • Front master cylinder
Has anybody done any of these upgrades to their bike, and if yes, did it matter?
I am thinking of a Brembo 14RCS for the front master cylinder and the HardDrive chrome caliper (which I am unable to find in Europe). Any alternatives from other manufacturers?

Thanks in advance

Ride safe

I think you'd notice the biggest difference by replacing the brake hoses with braided hoses. I've not done it on mine because I don't have an issue with the brake feel, but I know a lot of people have done it with good results.

Edit, sorry I ride a 650 and just noticed I'm in the 300 section. It may be similar on the 300 though.

I don't care what you ride, just ride.

I am thinking braided hoses are the way to go but maybe different pads could help?
