Crash bars with Aux lights

After seeing the post on Aux lights, I bought some for our two X300s, here are some pics of them fitted and a bracket I made for them.
The lights work great and give high visability during the day.

I went a different route and fabricated a light bar. I first installed T-Rex crash bars, then decided on a straight piece of aluminum angle, 1”x 1” just long enough to allow for the Auxbeam 6 element spot LEDs. I used the factory T-Rex front/middle screws to secure the angle aluminum. Worked out better than I expected- after priming then using flat black spray paint. I let the paint “bake” in the summer sun for 2 days. I ran wires straight to the battery, with an in-line fuse, then mounted a waterproof flip switch where the factory light switch would go. (I wanted to use the lights without the key being on). IF you do this, remember to turn them off or you’ll run the battery down! Pic below.
