Kawasaki X 300 crash bars
Just installed the Kawasaki X300 crash bar on both my wife’s and my bike. Then I started it appeared that to get the front ( under the head light) bracket mounted you have to remove the fairing/ panels.
So to overcome this I just drill out the thread in the top mounting studs of the front bracket, drop two 10mm (8.8) bolts through bracket attached to the frame, slide the front mounting bracket over the bolts and add some locking nuts (see picture) Once that was done the rest of the crash bar mount without having to remove any fairing/ panel parts.
I did spray paint the holes that I'd drilled out to stop any rust.
