Question Givi EasyLock Bags on 300X?

I have contacted Givi, but have not received an answer yet. Maybe someone here can help?

My brother gave me a set of Givi EasyLock saddle bags, they hook on and lock to a base frame. Looking around I cannot find a Givi base frame for the 300X, but they do make a Monokey base for the 300X.

Does anyone know if the Monokey frames will work (or are close enough to modify) for the EasyLock system or maybe some other rack I could check out?

Last resort would be making my own mounts.

Thanks,

I'm a fan of Givi products, I have them on my other bike. That being said, it usually takes three business days for Givi to reply, at least both times with me it did. From what I remember, the Easylock brackets are larger for larger bikes compared to the Monokey brackets (which fit the VX300), I don't think it will work without heavy modification (cutting and re-welding the brackets back together). Though I'm sure that with some basic metal working skills and tools you could come up with a way to mount the Easylock bags. I recently replaced my soft side luggage on the VX300 with the Shad side cases and brackets because of the lower profile of the Shad brackets when the luggage isn't attached. That, and the side cases look more factory on the bike compared to the OEM cases that's available.

I've decided to make my own mounts. Updates to come.
