15T , 2 up, at altitude
I got the 15T front installed, so I thought I would give my impressions. This is how the bike should have been geared from the factory.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd are much more usable. I don't have to shift twice just to get through an intersection.
I then tried it 2 up, at altitude. I am 6'1" at 200 lbs. My wife is 5'8" at 150.
We rode to the top of Pikes Peak, which is 14,000 feet. Once we hit the steep part, the bike went right up in 2nd and 3rd gear, depending on the speed limit areas and the incline/switchbacks. No problems at all, and less shifting with the 15T
The 15T switch is well worth the money.
