Installed center stand, bought on eBay.

Now I can properly check the oil level (amongst other things) without lying on the ground trying to balance the bike.

I replaced the ridged soft side saddlebags on the VX300 with the Shad 3P quick release side cases. Im keeping the Givi bag on the tail rack and I think I'm almost finished accessorizing the bike now.

Finally got the crash/engine guards on. Plus added a USB socket and upgraded headlight bulb.

Just got my new Kawasaki tall seat for my 2018 versys x 300. This seat made all the difference. At 6'3", this seat was the missing piece. Love love love it.

Just a couple of little things today. I added a better mount for my phone and a micro garage door remote and mount. The phone mount is a combo of a GoPro mount and a Roam phone mount.

Added this inexpensive seat pad purchased from Amazon - so far it helps (a little) - seems comfortable and stable - but haven't ridden any meaningful distances yet. Jury is still out.

I was curious about that pad prior to purchasing the Airhawk. Let us know what you think about it after you have given it some ride time as I'm still curious about it.

Skid Plate and crash bars (both china direct). Went on with only a few GDI's despite coming with literally no instructions.

T-Rex Racing Front and rear Axle Sliders. Super easy, and still no instructions (not sure why everyone assumes I just know how stuff works).

Happy with all of my upgrades so far, hopefully more to come!

Swapped on the Sunstar 15 tooth front sprocket. This is how the bike should have shipped from the factory! (Though I suppose if you rode it off-road, it might be too tall). BTW, I always hear of people having trouble with the countershaft nut (the one that holds the sprocket on). I hit it with the impact wrench and it spun right off. Go figure.

Had the sprocket done at my 600 miler.

I asked around on ADVR....r and it seems like the bike is still plenty good for off road stuff.

I do, however, hear the noise some people have mentioned. Pretty much only when moving below 50, but it can be annoying to my ears, but then again, every little noise from the bike (or even my cars) makes me think something's going wrong.

Yeah, I do hear gear whine that I didn't hear with the stock gear. I didn't think to even mention it because it sounds like every other street bike I've ever owned that had a chain.

Installed some Barkbusters. The worst part was pulling out the barends. Hopefully the 1 inch bar risers I'm getting next week will give enough clearance to fully lock the bars again. I like the way they look!

Chain clean, adjust slack, lube...inspected air filter, checked tire pressure, sprayed a little oil down clutch cable...didn't do throttle cable...

This rubber chain guide on the swingarm was full of gunk - not any more.

Love the center stand and Fasteddie, rechecked chain slack on side stand.
