Versys-X 300 ABS 2017 Battery Bolt Nut

Seems I ran into the common problem of losing a battery bolt nut. My bike is my only set of wheels so I can't get to my dealership, and they were very unhelpful over the phone. Starting to dislike that place.

What is the stock battery? I am trying to match the battery type to bolt/nut size on the various online parts stores. I don't have convenient access to my bike currently, otherwise I would just go look.

Does anyone know the correct size? The nut is square.

This seems to be the most universal:

I BELIEVE that battery hold-down bolts/ nuts are standard (as in - they're all the same).

They look all the same - but have never compared or measured them.
But AFAIR a 6 or 8 mm nut will also lock in place....but I also remember something about having to hone the hole in the battery terminal to match a slightly larger bolt - which could point to an 8 mm bolt.
But buying a nut and bolt in both 6 and 8 mm wouldn't brake the bank, compared to not being able to start the bike ;o)

I always replace my battery bolts with Stainless Steel Allen Head Bolts. Ace Hardware will have bolts and nuts to fit. Just take the other one off the battery and match it up....

No on the threadlock....I just check tightness every 3-4 months and clean the cable ends and battery posts once a year.
