Eastern Colorado Riding

Took the little Gray Bike out for a ride to meet a friend for lunch in Kiowa today. Beautiful weather but a bit windy. Only took one picture

I mapped out a ride in the same area that went a little farther south and east, to the Calhan Paint Mines (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calhan...gical_District).

Just gotta find some time to make the ride now ;-)

Great picture, looks beautiful. By the way, I’m thinking of getting the top case like you have. How do you like it? Any thoughts? The side paniers are too expensive at this point for me.

My favorite view is the first sight of the Rockies when heading west and the sight I hate to lose when heading back home.
I will be out on my Tenere in mid June for some great riding.

I was a bit east of there yesterday (KS, NE) and the wind was horrible. I was driving a pick-up with a 36' fifth wheel on the back. Not fun but I made it home.

Certainly epic riding territory you have there.

Sweet.
