Anyone added LED's on their Versys X 300?

Just curious how you wired them in. I see a couple of switched options and mine are very low power/draw for day time visibility use mainly.

I have LEDs on both my '08 and '15 V650s. I wired them to have power to the switch when the ignition key is ON, and used the daytime running lights as the 12V source.

I went ahead and ordered a full LED relay wiring harness with a waterproof switch off of Amazon for $9. Then the power wires will run back to the battery and the relay wire will run to the power accessory power wire to trip the relay to send power only when the key is turned on. They are only 10W LED's for visibility. I run them all of the time.

Will do. I hand tightened one on the OEM crash bar a few minutes to see how it would work. Waiting for harness to arrive Amazon Prime.

My wife says during the day she can see the 10W LEDs on my V-Strom from 1/4 mile away before she can even make out the bike.

I replaced the running lights either side of the headlight with LED's. They are white but with a 6000K colour temperature which gives them a blue hue - so much brighter, better looking and more effective than the OEM bulbs that are brown in comparison with even the OEM headlight. I wanted an LED H/L bulb as well but the store only had them in pairs.
