Automatic oiler system

Hello fellow riders!
I was thinking of installing one of these automatic chain oiling devices (for example Scottoiler V-System). I installed a similar one once on my old ZR-7S and was really happy with the freedom of never lubing my chain again.

Are there any experiences in this group regarding this? Any pros and cons for having that on an adv bike? Maybe even someone has it on the x300 already.

Any input would be awesome!

I'm using a Cameleon oiler, the plus model. They have a their own oil, synthetic and clear. Quite clean as far as oilers go. Automatically changes dosage rate with the temperature. All digitally controlled. Three year warranty and excellent customer service. I just had mine replaced after 2 years, 10 months under warranty. It wasn't fully shutting off when parked.

BTW, the fluid usage is quite miserly. I have to refill at 6-8,000 miles.

Available at Amazon.

The company is based in Quebec.
