I mounted, balanced, and installed a new rear Shinko 705 tire. The old Kenda Big Block Paver was worn out with a little over 10000 miles on it.
I would have used another new Paver, but they were unavailable when ordering tires a few months ago. My front Paver has 13,500 miles on it and looks to be good for another 1500 miles or so. The swing arm pivot bolt, shock bolts, and all UniTrak linkage bolts/sleeves were cleaned and greased. There was no corrosion as this was done during my first rear tire change at 3000 miles. My 2017 X 300 has a little over 23,000 miles on it.
I will clean, grease, and adjust the steering stem bearings/races when the front tire is changed out. The fork oil will be changed as well......should be good for quite some time after.
What a great bike.
