Ha ha. Yeah, Honda was waiting on Kawasaki to jump on their twin VFR headlights, and took over the Kawasaki Versys Mod2 design as their futuristic design (although it looks like a vertical single cylinder.)
I always did like the mod2 Kawasaki design better, and so did Honda evidently. Now it will flip back to the Honda design I just don't think there is a better designed motorcycle after the 2012-13 Vs. 650 models. Honda traditionally keeps redesigning perfection (for short people.) That's GOTTA be good for the Vs. 650 model line (except now we have the outdated VFR headlight design on our new models)! Kawasaki Vs. 650 engineers are all hitting their head in anguish now:teetertooter:
"So apparently, the Honda SFA Concept will feature a single-cylinder engine. Based on its looks and the company’s confirmation of its engine size, you can immediately rule out any thought of this bike being anything more than a small-displacement street fighter."
It's hard to tell exactly, but it looks more like a Vs. 650, and a Grom has mini-bike wheels. I'd take it over a Grom any day (Sorry Capt., I'll get back to the bridge, aye aye Capt.)
I'm currently riding the version 1 of the Crossrunner. I like it very much. I'm looking upgrade next year. The V1000 was on the list. After a quick test ride on Sat, it going to me a close call not to go with the new XRunner. I don't know why they don't bring it to the USA.
Wow. That thing makes both the Gen 1 and 2 Versys look like a beauty queen.
