IPad support

Is any one else using an iPad to view the forum? Seems the settings are off a bit, get a text only version of the forum. I googled and found another vBulletin forum was having the same issues. The admin was able to tweak some settings and fix. No big deal, but just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for a great forum!

I just got an iPad and have the same problem. For some reason it defaults to mobile version of this web site?

The key may be to use this app http://www.tapatalk.com at least on the iPhone and iPhone
This app makes any site using vBulletin software like this one a breeze.

I use it on my iPod touch to read and sometimes post.

Take a look at this thread http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...highlight=ipod

I fought it for a while. I tried Safari, the found this thread, but d/l the wrong app. Once I installed Tapatalk, life was good.

Having the same problem with my iPad where I am getting the mobile version. Tapatalk is an iPhone app and not optimized for the iPad. Does the forum support the forum runner app.

I have the same problem on my smart phone. I greatly prefer the real website and if I use Opera mobile I can get the full site. If I use the phone's built in browser I get the mobile site. I'm guessing the forum is detecting what browser you are using and based on that it shows either the full or mobile site. I know Opera mini is available on the iPhone so you might be able to get it on the iPad as well.

The only other thing that I can think of is getting the administrators to tweak some settings, which hasn't had any affect so far.

Hey All:

For the time being, the best approach is to work with TapaTalk. We are working on a smart phone solution, which will handle more than just the iPhone, but that's still a couple of weeks or so out.

I have Tapatalk on my iPhone but it does not find this forum. I've searched www.kawasakiversys.com, versys, kawasaki...no matches. How do I get in?

I can't find this forum in TapaTalk. I'm only using the RO version because I wanted to try it out... could that be the problem?

What about forum runner? says it's only a 5 minute installation of plug in on the server to have support for it.

No worries though Admins, I know it's a thankless job to run forums... so THANK YOU!

Ah nuts. I jumped into this thread hoping to see an iPad mounted on someone's Versys.

I recently saw a cager with an iPad mounted to her windshield. She was happily flipping her screen while driving her car down the Interstate at 65 mph.

I, for one, hope we never see an iPad mounted on someone's Versys.

Way cool, Machog. Let's just not see you playing with that iPad while piloting your boat down the interstate at 65, OK?

Bump...

Can we access the site via Tapatalk? If so, how? I can't find the site listed. Thanks.

Hoping to have some news shortly. Thanks for your patience. Unfortunately, the timing is not in my hands.
