How to delete visitor messages on my profile page?

When I click on my profile, I want to clean up my profile page by deleting some old visitor messages. I see no way to do this and my searches all say that moderators and respective owners may delete them.

Anybody know the secret?

If you are talking about private messages, there are tiny checkboxes to the right of them.
Check the ones you want to delete, then choose "delete" from the dropdown list on the bottom right, and click "Go(2)" - where the number indicates how many messages will be affected by your action.

I now understand that you are indeed not talking about private messages

I have no clue about the user messages on the profile page...

Sorry I was unclear, I changed my post to say "visitor messages". Thanks for trying to help!

At the bottom of my page, there is a drop down menu. I'm not sure if it's only mods that have that option, or if you guys do too. Looks like this:

100% free webcam site! | Awesome chicks and it is absolutely free! | Watch free live sex cam - easy as 1-2-3

And as it turns out, if you don't have the ability to delete them, I can do it for you. Just let me know which messages to delete. Odd that members can't delete messages from their own profiles...

I have no such check boxes or delete options.. I did a search on the forum and it says we have the ability to delete visitor messages from our own profile but I sure don't see how.

Thanks for tryin'!

That is odd. I'll send a message to admin and ask about it. You'd think a person would be able to delete those.
