Twist the Throttle

I've been watching this series on HD Theater (by Discovery).

The most recent episode was on both Bimota and Alpinestars. Bimota makes different bikes. It was really cool to see how they're different.

Past episodes have been on Honda, Kawasaki, BMW, Ducati, MV Augusta ... I think the next one is on Yamaha.

I've found most of them very interesting (ironically, I've found the one on Kawasaki the least interesting).

Anyone else catching these? What else do you watch (motorcycle-wise)?

I try to watch the road as much as I can

Seriously though, we've been cable/satellite free for 3 years now. I don't watch a ton of TV, but I'll have to check to see if Discovery has them online.

I watch these all the time. That Bimota bike is off the hook. You can also stream the episodes online.

Which means that about the time you cut out TV in 2007, was about the time these shows were first aired. Interesting general overview, though.

A show like MotorWeek that did bike tests would be really cool. But it would probably lead to me buying more bikes ...

motorweek does motorbike tests on occassion. in fact, they did the new z1000 recently.

In a world full of people, only some want to ride. Isn't that crazy?
