Translating Motorcycle Ads

If you're in need of a little humor wander over to this Rezilla link:

http://www.revzilla.com/common-tread...t=%F0%9F%94%8E

There you can read our own Lance Oliver's amusing and insightful article on translating motorcycle ads. It's not likely you'll be able to get through it without laughing. And, Lance's translations are spot-on in more than a few instances.

Oh by the way, I have a rare, collectible Bulgarian cruiser/adventure bike/sidecar combination for sale. It's priced to sell for a huge pile of cash, or best offer, or the complete set of Popular Undertaker magazines. No low ballers need inquire. Did I say it's a good winter project bike?

Thanks for the plug, Arion, and glad you enjoyed my little attempt at humor.

Disclaimer: The preceding post was not a paid endorsement. Arion has received no compensation or consideration, monetary or otherwise, for expressing his generous comments, mainly because I'm a fairly legendary cheap bastage (and because I don't get compensated by the click, anyway).

Whitehorse Press is going out of business so it's time for a final sale. Signed copies of my book are now $10 with free shipping in the U.S. while they last.

Well, perhaps I'll mail you my copy of your book for an autograph. That's compensation enough.
