Broken screen advice on replacement please

For all you internet shopping gurus, can some please recommend a good place to get a replacement screen fro my Ninja 1000 2011 or as we call it here Z1000SX as I hit a bird at 200kph and broke screen, due to NZ isolation local dealers charge a small fortune for a replacement so any links to a reliable place that ships to NZ would be great, cheers Phil

Phil - I repaired a URAL 'shield for a guy, by drilling several holes and using 'zip-ties'.

200km/h is the terminal speed of impact

your 100km/hr one way and bird 100km/h the opposite way = 200km/h

I have never repaired a screen, but have repaired many other plastic pieces, by adding "stitches" with zip ties. Unfortunately for KIWI, it looks like he is missing many of the pieces he needs to make a full screen.

By happy that the impact didn't make you swerve and crash. A replacement shield is way cheaper than what it could have been.
