I like it. Honda and Kawasaki both use a single cylinder for their 300 class bikes. I like this one went with a parallel twin with a little more displacement too.

The Honda CB300R is a single but the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is a twin.

Here's a little more info on the R3 at my other internet home these days.

The Ninja 300 actually has competition now the single cylinder Honda wasn't
