Tenere 800

Rumours abound... But it looks like the Tenere 800 SPORT BIKE (840ish) Triple looks like it is a "go" for Europe. (?)

Based on the FZ-09 so, probably no shaft drive.

No, not the states... It would never sell. Maybe in Canada.

That's an 850 (847cc)... We will likely see a Tenere 700 (689cc) twin.

There is an FJ-09 coming to the USA...looks more like a poor man's MultiStrada than a smaller displacement Tenere.

I'd wager any smaller Tenere would be based on the 2-cylinder FZ-07.

Now that's what I've been waiting for. Sorta like a V with more power and the bonus of the character of a triple. The baby tigers just don't do it for me but I've got my fingers crossed for this one.

Ride To Live, Live To Ride....no, really!

WOW. That looks like a winner. It will be interesting to swing a leg over that next year.

Well . if that is the new bike.. then it Chain driven and no driveshaft... you can see the chain in the pic under swingarm between the rear disc and end of centerstand(?).

Note the signature (below the front tire) of the designer who created this "artist's conception" of what an 800 Tenere might look like. Looks cool but don't count on finding one of these at your local Yamaha dealer.

Here's another artist's conception of what an FJ-09 might look like. (yellow bike) The only image we've seen of what an FJ-09 will look like is from Yamaha. (gray bike)

Keep an eye on Motorcycledaily.com, which will announce all the new models as the manufacturers release them.
