Ninja 650R vs. Versys Frame?

I'm getting a list together to change my 2006 Ninja 650R up a bit... Hunting some crash bars and skid plate. Does anyone have any clue if the SW-Motech engine guards and skid plate for the 07-09 Versys will fit a 2006 650R? I know there are some differences in the frame but I don't know what they are. Any help appreciated.

As far as I'm aware, the frames are identical, w/ different swing-arms and forks.

Garage
Engine area is same... frame behind engine is different
Versys does not get a frame support under battery somewhere and a few strengthening gussets.

If you look at this thread... he puts a Ninja 650 engine into a Versys frame and points out the differences. (A bigger thread is on the ADVriders forum)

Thank you gentlemen, I'm researching on ADVRider too. JDRocks says the peg/shifter mount needs tweaked for the crash bars but things will mostly bolt right up. I'll get everything together and go from there. Still in the "gathering parts" stage.
