Will this be the one?

I've been hooked on the Versys since 2008 but never seem to keep it for more than a year. I sell and then months pass and I miss it and go looking again. Well this time I think I've found the bike that will keep my Versys addiction in check. Purchased a new 2013 Honda CB1100. Brings me back to the days of the 70s growing up riding the Honda CB400F then on to the Suzuki GS750EC and Honda CB750C. Wife is happier because she won't have a problem getting on the passenger seat. This site is awesome so I'll still check in to see what's going on.

Very cool. Have a crush on the new CB1100 too.

Have you done much 2 up yet? Do the rear shocks handle passengers ok?

Nice bike if your short on the inseam. I found my legs where to cramped for me with a 33 inch inseam. good bike other wise from when I sat on one. Love the looks.

Took the wife around the subdivision. Have the oem rack on order and will attach a Givi v46 case to it to give her a back rest or she won't ride. Plan on doing a lot of 2 up riding with her. Will adjust the rear shocks to a higher setting so we don't have any issues. I'm 5'8" and loved the Versys but taking the CB1100 out for a spin I pulled up to an intersection and instinctively dropped my left leg to the ground and the bike never moved. Knee was slightly bent too and I chuckled that I no longer have to THINK about where my feet are when I stop. Can't say I won't ever own a Versys or VStrom again but the CB1100 height for me works great.
