1999 r6

I love love my Versys but I've always wanted a sport bike. Out of all the bikes I've owned over the years none were as my wife calls it, a lean over bike. This 57 year old body an't gettin' any younger so I went for it. I just love the sound of a inline four, nuttin' like it. I bought this one a couple of weeks ago, the deal was so good I couldn't let it slip by, so I took the plung.

Just thought I would share with the Versys family...I still have the Versys by the way.

Nice bike!
As soon as I bought my seca 2 I wanted an r6. I loved the inline 4 but wanted it to work better (go faster, stop faster, turn better...)

Luck favors the prepared.

Ha! I owned a Seca II back in 94'. Oh how I wish I had the FZR600 with those dual round headlights back then.

I know what ya mean about the sound of an inline four. I had a slip on for my ZX6R.....OOOh it sounded sweet. Just my conscience kept hitting me over the head every time I tried to hear it around 16k rpm's Hence I traded it for my beloved Versys

VERY hard to believe that's a 1999 R6. Looks NEW!
