The GF's oldest son was going to get one but liked the GSXR 750 more and bought it.

I had a Speed Triple and they are a blast...the Street looks just as fun and sounds wicked. Just don't buy one if your drivers license is of any use to you

I am in L-O-V-E with the Street Triple R!

I think if I had a Triumph dealer anywhere near me my wallet would be in serious trouble. It may still be...

A short trip to TN this past weekend to visit some family gave me the chance to stop by a Triumph dealer and check out the STriple in person.

Unfortunately it just didn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a beautiful bike that just oozes sexiness but the ergos didn't fit me at all. My legs felt crammed underneath me and the amount of forward lean was awkward. I'm 6'2" with 33" inseam for reference.

I'm definitely interested in checking out the Yamaha FZ09 this fall since it seems to correct both issues I had with the Triumph but I must say I'm lovin' the V even more now. The Yammy will have to absolutely blow my socks off to get me off my V.

I like the triple engines that Triumph uses, I like the triumoph tiger 800XC, THAT would blow my socks off on the V.

Not worth the 1.5x price tag to me. To each his own though.
